Shannon Wilcken brings more than 25 years of healthcare, business leadership, and service experience to Bridgecare Senior Transitions. His career began in healthcare as a U.S. Army Health Care Specialist and EMT and later as a Physical Therapist Assistant, giving him firsthand experience caring for patients and understanding the emotional, physical, and practical challenges families face when health and independence begin to change. Over the years, Shannon progressed into senior healthcare leadership roles, including Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer for growing multi-site healthcare organizations. His experience navigating complex healthcare systems, coordinating resources, solving difficult problems, and guiding organizations through major decisions now serves as the foundation for his work with seniors and their families. At the heart of Shannon’s approach is empathy and compassion. He understands that senior transitions often come during some of life’s most challenging moments, when families may be facing uncertainty, changing health needs, difficult conversations, and important decisions about care, housing, and the future. Shannon takes the time to listen, understand each family’s unique circumstances, and provide thoughtful guidance without pressure.
